Graduated at Conservatory Morlacchi in Perugia with Maestro Paolo Franceschini; she has then attended several master classes and courses with Maestro Cristiano Rossi, Massimo Marin, Alina Company, Simone Bernardini, Christof Horak and Olexandr Semchuk.
She made her debut as solist with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Perugia, playing Beethoven's Violin Concerto op.61.
She has been member of the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana in Fiesole, being both Assistant Concertmeister and Leader Second Violins. There she performed under the baton of Maestros Paskowsky, Inbal, Geringas, R. Abbado, Desideri, Accardo, Ferro and Gatti. In 2003 she was touring in Spain with the Joven ORquestra Nacional de Espana with Maestro Tamayo; during the spring of 2004 she collaborated with Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and Maestro Claudio Abbado in Bozen. In 2004 she won a scholarship at "Ferrara Music" in order to attend a master class with Maestro Thomas Brandis.
From 2004 to 2007 she has been the leader of Pierrot Quartet whit which she had a wide activity in Umbria and Toscana, in Perugia and Firenze, performing as well for the Foundation "Longhi" and the Vicchio di Rimaggio Festival, collaborating with Maestros Scalvini (Fiesole Quartet) and Benedetto Lupo.

In 2006 the Pierrot Quartet won the scholarship "Alimondo Ciampi". She was suitable for leader first and second violins for Mozart Orchestra, with which she recorded in 2008 a cd with Maestro Enrico Bronzi for Amadeus magazine. From 2007 to 2009 she has been member of Mozart Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Claudio Abbado, and Orchestra Cherubini held by Maestro Riccardo Muti.
From 2009 she s a fix member of the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, for the role of Fourth Chair of Second Violins section, conducted by Maestro Antonio Pappano.
She has been performing with the Baroque Academy of Santa Cecilia conducted by Maestro Sardelli; she is Leader Second Violins section in the String Orchestra of Santa Cecilia, under the baton of Maestro Piovano.
Lavinia plays a violin by Arturo Fracassi, 1943 Cesena.
